Our story begins in Italy in the 1950s when the founder, Giuseppe Schievano, started his tailoring business creating custom-made clothing. The art of the tailor is a complex one, made of precision and attention to detail. It requires creativity, versatility, and passion. These characteristics were passed down to the second generation, which saw the birth of IDEAPACK ITALIA srl in 1986, now, thanks to the third generation. A reality with deep roots, which has made these characteristics its distinctive feature and has allowed it to develop collaborations first with the most prestigious wine and spirits production companies and then to expand the market to the excellences of many other sectors, contributing to the evolution of wooden packaging design.Today, IDEAPACK ITALIA represents a reference point for qualified and luxury wooden packaging and guarantees great design capacity, thanks to the innovative ideas that progress design and made in Italy every year.

The company has always imposed a strict environmental policy and uses only woods selected from supply chains traced according to FSC standards, thus guaranteeing high quality and great respect for the planet. The increasingly frequent use of 100% recycled wood fiber also helps to limit the environmental impact due to deforestation and to develop an increasingly green profile. The latter is characterized by a major project born in 2015, in collaboration with young designers from the Politecnico di Milano, dedicated to the development of a branch of the company dedicated to the industrialization and production of a line of wine crates called DOUBLE-USE. Crates that are born for the transport of wine bottles, but have a second life as decorative elements. The constant addition of young collaborators contributes to the process of innovation to always be ready for the challenges of the future and continue our mission of PACKAGING INNOVATION.
